BGS of Roswell, Georgia has developed a fully automated, interactive QR3 process for
providing information healthcare providers can use to help determine the availability of
antigen-negative and antigen-matched red blood cells in the form of volunteer donor-units.
The unique QR3 process consists of four functions:

| | RECORD | to initiate a transaction to request resource sharing |
| | RESPONSE | to enter unit availability and/or initiate recruitment |
| | REPLY | to confirm the transaction |

BGS On-Line™ is strictly an information source provided by Blood Group Services, Inc. and our sponsors to our collection center
members and their clients without a transaction cost or membership fee. Client facilities such as hospitals and transfusion
services may obtain access to BGS On-Line™ through the collection center that routinely supplies them blood. In addition,
members that export red cells may opt to allow the importing center to access on-file typings via unit number queries.
BGS On-Line™ will allow the user to perform the following interactive tasks:
Query a database of "your center only" or national red cell inventories for antigen-negative donor-units by ABO group, collection date or range of collection dates.
Query the database for on-file typings via unit numbers.
Initiate an automated, e-mail transaction for in-date donor-units and/or request donor recruitment through the use of current or prior unit number with or without reviewing the query result.
Print query requests.
Access historical transaction data.
